These Terms of Service govern your use of CC0 Company's platform. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using CC0 Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. About CC0 Company

CC0 Company is a decentralized e-commerce platform that enables:

Store Deployment: Merchants deploy stores with Brand Coins on Base + Zora
Tokenized Commerce: Blockchain tokens for product unlocks and payments
CC0 Culture: Promotion of Creative Commons Zero content and remixing
Cryptocurrency Payments: Native ETH and Content Coin support

3. Eligibility

To use CC0 Company, you must:

Be at least 18 years old (or legal age in your jurisdiction)
Have legal capacity to enter binding contracts
Not be prohibited from using our services
Comply with all applicable laws

4. Store Deployment Terms

4.1 Deployment Fee

One-time payment: 0.005 ETH on Base network
Covers store creation + automatic Brand Coin deployment on Zora
⚠️ NON-REFUNDABLE once transaction is confirmed

4.2 Merchant Referral Wallet

You must designate a Merchant Referral Wallet during deployment
This wallet receives trading fees from your Brand Coin
⚠️ PERMANENT - CANNOT BE CHANGED after deployment
You are solely responsible for ensuring you control this wallet
CC0 Company is NOT liable for incorrect wallet addresses

4.3 Brand Coin (Content Coin)

Automatically created on Zora during store deployment
Deployed via CC0 Company's creator account (@cc0company)
You receive 100% of Creator rewards (~33% of trading fees)
Uses the name, symbol, and image you provide
Once deployed, parameters cannot be modified

4.4 Store Operation

You are responsible for all content, products, and transactions
You must comply with all applicable laws
You control your Treasury Wallet for customer payments
You must fulfill all customer orders

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may NOT use CC0 Company to:

Illegal Activities

Sell illegal goods
Violate laws
Engage in fraud
Infringe IP rights

Harmful Content

Sell weapons/drugs
Promote violence
Distribute malware
Sell counterfeits

Platform Abuse

Exploit vulnerabilities
Create fake accounts
Spam or phish
Impersonate others

Financial Misconduct

Market manipulation
Pump and dump
Mislead buyers
Fail to deliver

6. Store Termination Rights

CC0 Company reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate any store that:

Violates these Terms
Engages in illegal activities
Sells prohibited items
Receives multiple valid customer complaints
Engages in fraudulent activity
Violates intellectual property rights
Poses security risks
Fails to fulfill orders
Engages in market manipulation

If Your Store Is Terminated:

Store immediately disabled
Dashboard access revoked
Pending orders must be fulfilled or refunded
⚠️ Deployment fee NOT REFUNDABLE
⚠️ Brand Coin remains on-chain (cannot be removed)
You may appeal at contact@cc0co.xyz

7. Intellectual Property

CC0 Content

CC0 Company promotes Creative Commons Zero content. With CC0:

✓ Use, modify, remix freely
✓ No attribution required
✓ Commercial use allowed
✓ Create and sell derivatives

Non-CC0 Content

If using non-CC0 content:

You must have proper rights/licenses
You are solely responsible for infringement
CC0 Company NOT liable for your violations
We may terminate for valid DMCA notices

8. Financial Terms

Payment Processing

Processed on Base blockchain
Transactions irreversible once confirmed
Gas fees paid by transaction initiator
CC0 Company cannot reverse blockchain transactions

Fees

Deployment: 0.005 ETH (one-time, non-refundable)
Trading Fees: Merchant Referral Wallet receives Creator rewards

Taxes

You are responsible for all taxes. Consult a tax professional.

9. Customer Orders

As a merchant, you must:

Accurately describe products
Honor displayed prices
Fulfill orders timely
Provide tracking information
Handle returns per your policy
Respond to customer inquiries

Repeated complaints may result in store termination.

10. Blockchain & Smart Contracts

Blockchain Transactions

⚠️ All transactions are FINAL and IRREVERSIBLE
You are responsible for transaction accuracy
CC0 Company cannot reverse or refund
Gas fees separate from product prices

Wallet Security

You are solely responsible for wallet security
Never share private keys or seed phrases
CC0 Company never asks for private keys
We are NOT liable for lost/stolen crypto

Smart Contract Risks

Smart contracts may contain bugs
Brand Coins deployed via Zora (third-party)
CC0 Company NOT liable for smart contract failures
Use blockchain services at your own risk

11. Disclaimers

CC0 Company is provided "AS IS" without warranties:

No warranty of merchantability
No warranty of fitness for purpose
No guarantee of uninterrupted operation
Token values may fluctuate
You may lose money trading tokens
Not responsible for third-party failures

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Liability limited to fees paid in past 12 months
NOT liable for indirect or consequential damages
NOT liable for lost profits or data
NOT liable for third-party actions
NOT liable for blockchain failures

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify CC0 Company from claims arising from:

Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of laws
Your products or services
Your Brand Coin operations
Customer disputes

14. Dispute Resolution

Before legal action:

Attempt informal resolution
Wait 30 days for response

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by French law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes effective upon posting with email notification for material changes. Continued use means acceptance.

16. Termination

Your Right: Stop using anytime. Request deletion at contact@cc0co.xyz

Our Right: Terminate immediately for violations, fraud, or security risks

Effect: Access revoked, store disabled, Brand Coin remains on-chain

17. Store Owner Acknowledgment

By deploying a store, you specifically acknowledge:

✓ 0.005 ETH deployment fee is non-refundable
✓ Merchant Referral Wallet cannot be changed
✓ Responsible for all store content and operations
✓ CC0 Company may terminate for Terms violations
✓ Brand Coins remain on-chain if store terminated
✓ Solely responsible for taxes and legal compliance
✓ All blockchain transactions final and irreversible
